<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system which enables a user to easily change a place where the user wants an enlarged display, and has improved visibility of a display image. <P>SOLUTION: An interphone system comprises a door phone slave unit 1 installed outdoor and an interphone master unit 2 which is installed indoor and capable of communicating with the door phone slave unit 1. An image taken by a imaging unit 14 of the door phone slave unit 1 is transmitted to the interphone master unit 2 via a communication unit 11, the interphone master unit 2 makes a display unit 24 display the received image via the communication unit 21. The interphone system displays an enlarged image of a place around a touched place by a user touching the screen of the display unit 24 and also performs brightness correction to an area of prescribed size including the touched place.
