FIELD: wind-power engineering; orthogonal windmill-driven power plants. SUBSTANCE: blades attached to ends of crosspieces are free to displace up and down relative to the latter. In this way, upper and lower sections of rotor have low shading coefficient and its middle sections have twice as high shading coefficient. Novelty is that part of rotor possesses high shading effect which ensures self-starting and other part of rotor has low shading effect affording higher power at mild winds. EFFECT: provision for self-starting of plant at relatively mild wind regimes, improved power characteristics, including power output, at relatively mild wind regimes, improved reliability of plant during storms or control system failure due to tested destructible members introduced in lower fastenings of blades and crossarms and tested destructible tubular insert in upper fastenings recurring screw guys to pole. 3 cl, 4 dwg |
