PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately support detection of an abnormality on a recording medium disposed as a reading target in a predetermined space.

SOLUTION: An abnormality detection supporting apparatus has: candidate extraction means for extracting a first recording medium in which the number of reading times is less than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, from reading achievement storage means for storing the number of reading times in which identification information is read by a reading apparatus provided for a mobile body, for each of a plurality of recording media which are disposed on a mobile surface on which the mobile body moves and on which the identification information for identifying a position on the mobile surface is recorded; vicinity medium specification means for specifying a second recording medium disposed in the vicinity of the first recording medium on the mobile surface on the basis of the identification information on the recording media; and index value calculation means for calculating an index value indicating a possibility of an abnormality on the first recording medium on the basis of the number of reading times stored by the reading achievement storage means regarding the second recording medium.
