<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote uniformization of gas concentration distribution after injection when EGR gas or the like, is smoothly injected into an intake passage, with respect to the gas injection structure to the intake passage. <P>SOLUTION: The gas injection structure to the intake passage, is equipped with: a throttle valve 11 of butterfly type composed of a valve element 11, arranged in an intake passage 2 of an engine 1, and a stem part 12 supporting this valve element 11 possible to turn; a gas flow passage 13 formed inside the stem part 12; and an opening 15 for making the gas inside the gas flow passage 13 flow into a downstream side further than the valve element 11 of the intake passage 2. The opening 15 is formed in a wall part on the downstream further than the valve element 11 at an outer periphery of the gas flow passage 13 of the stem part 12 toward a direction deviated toward the side of the valve element 11 from the direction perpendicular to the valve element 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
