<p>A process for upgrading oil feedstock which contain more than 50 % virgin oils, wherein the feedstock is hydrocracked to adjust the hydrogen content, flashed and/or hydrocracked to adjust the hydrogen content. Employing a vertical reactor shell (10) encloses and supports a stacked series of fixed porous solid beds of solid hydrotreating catalyst, as depicted by (12a) through (12e). A chargestock (6) is combined with a hydrogen rich gas (8) and introduced to the reactor (10) after undergoing appropriate heating means (9).</p> |
