<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, and a control method and program for the same for allowing pointing to be simultaneously performed among a plurality of windows at a plurality of bases without imposing a burden on a server. <P>SOLUTION: According to first pointing information obtained from an input device, display of a pointer to a display picture of a display output device is controlled. Second pointing information obtained from the input device of an information processor is received from the information processor at another base connected via a network. Display of the received second pointing information to the display picture of a display output device is controlled.
