<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new pneumatic tire in which wear caused by shearing deformation of a land part when grounding can be reduced, especially, which is suitable for mounting on driving wheels of a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire having a rib 3 sectioned by a plurality of circumferential grooves 2 along the tire circumferential direction in a tread part 1, the rib 3 is constituted of: a center rib 3a which is positioned at the center region in the width direction of the tire and which divides the rib 3 in the rotation direction of the tire with an interval and forms the assembly of a central land part 3a<SB POS="POST">2</SB>; and a shoulder rib 3b which holds the center rib 3a between both sides and which divides the rib 3 in the rotation direction with an interval and forms the assembly of a central land part 3b<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. In the central land part 3a<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, the area Sb of a ground plane is 450 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less, length is 1.5 times of the groove width of the circumferential groove 2 or more and it is shorter than that of the shoulder land part 3b<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and width is shorter than the shoulder land part 3b<SB POS="POST">2</SB>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
