<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the displacement of a folding position due to difference in folding methods between a case using a folding blade and a case not using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A folding blade 901 is provided so that it can freely appear or disappear, facing a nip between a folding roller 111 and a folding roller 112. Conveyed paper sheets are regulated in the position of the tips thereof by a first stopper 141, and a plurality of the paper sheets are made to stay. Thereafter, the folding blade 901 enters the nip to fold the paper sheets. When folding the paper sheets by bending them without using the folding blade 901, the first stopper 141 is set at a position expressed with a real line, and in the case of using the folding blade, the first stopper 141 is set at a position expressed with a dashed line by a control means which is not illustrated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
