<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear easy to put on and take off and allowing natural walking. <P>SOLUTION: The footwear 10 has an elastic structure and is put on by inserting a shoe 22 from above into a space 16 surrounded by a bottom wall and a side wall. The upper part of the side wall is provided with a pair of engaging portions 26 projecting toward the space 16. The shoe 22 is only required to be put into the space 16 to put on the footwear 10, the footwear 10 is elastically deformed and a space between the pair of engaging portions 26 is enlarged, the shoe 22 is allowed to be inserted into the space 16, and the shoe 22 is only required to be removed therefrom while holding the footwear 10 to take off the footwear. After the shoe 22 is inserted into the footwear, the footwear 10 is restored to its original shape, the pair of engaging portions 26 are engaged on both sides of an instep 24 of the shoe 22, and the footwear 10 is prevented from falling off from the shoe 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
