<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic-coated cooking pan which has a water level line treated also to be non-sticky. <P>SOLUTION: The cooking pan has a metal or an earthenware as a base material 2 at least the inner surface of which is processed with a ceramic coating 4. The ceramic coating 4 comprises a partially surface-modified groove part 4a into which paint or ink 8 is injected to provide a display part such as the clearly visible water level line 3.
