ALUMINIUM ALLOY FOR EXTRUSION FORMING HAVING ENHANCED STRENGTH AND WORKABILITY

PURPOSE: Aluminium alloy for extrusion is provided to ensure enhanced strength and workability because of a composition of Mg, Mn, and Cu, different from the existing 6000 series aluminum alloy. CONSTITUTION: Aluminium alloy having enhanced strength and workability for extrusion comprises Si 0.95~1.05wt%, Mg 0.85~0.95wt%, Mn 0.65~0.75wt%, Cu 0.1~0.2wt%, Zn 0.1~0.2wt%, Cr 0.13~0.18wt%, Fe 0.25wt% or less, Ti 0.001~0.03wt%, inevitable impurities, 0.02wt% or less each and 0.10wt% or less in total, and Al of the remaining amount. The tensile strength of the aluminium alloy is 310MPa or greater and the elongation ratio is 10% or greater.
