PURPOSE: An apparatus for displaying locations using golf course flags and a method for controlling the same are provided to verify the direction and the intensity of wind and to accurately recognize the locations of hole-cups. CONSTITUTION: A flag body(10) is composed of a first vertical bar and a second vertical bar. A driving motor is combined with the body of the first vertical bar. A motor shaft rotates the second vertical bar based on the first vertical bar. A light sensor(20) detects external light and verifies brightness. A humidity sensor(30) detects the humidity around the flag body. A wind speed sensor detects the speed of wind around the flag body. A light emitting module illuminates a light emitting diode based on the verification result of the light sensor and the humidity sensor. |
