FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: variable format is determined for application to a range of cells within an electronic table, a type of threshold is detected, and its value is determined for use as a dynamic threshold value, multiple cells are detected, for which a dynamic threshold value must be detected, besides, multiple cells include a range of cells. Afterwards values are calculated that are included into a range of cells, to detect a value that meets a requirement of a threshold type, and the detected value is selected as a dynamic threshold value for a threshold type.
