METHOD OF PRODUCING GLUED TIMBER FROM LOG SIDE BOARDS (VERSIONS)

FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in woodworking. Proposed method comprises drying side boards located in log in symmetry, taper edging and edge slicing, gluing along edge after upturning of faces and ends of one of the boards through 180 and trimming of produced semi-finished product on two ends to make rectangular shape. Side board edges are milled to taper that complies with inclination of edge surface. One of the boards is sawn into two parts in directing saw notch in parallel with the board lengthwise axis of symmetry. Produced three blanks are glued along inclined edges so that sown parts of one board are located on two sides of solid board after upturning boards ends and faces through 180. ^ EFFECT: increased bulk yield of sawn timber. ^ 2 cl, 6 dwg
