FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device has wedge regulator 7 for leveling of bottom working roll relative to rolling line incorporating regulating wedge 8 that moves and may be locked, and roll replacement device 5 that moves in lengthwise direction to replace rolls locked in pads 4. Every said pad is clamped by top pressure plate 19, regulating wedge 8 and bottom pressure plate 14 in roll stand foundation. Smooth operation of wedge regulator is ensured by aforesaid device 7 is separated from roll replacement device 5. Note that top pressure plate 19 may be directed in vertical and horizontal directions in guides of roll replacement device 5. ^ EFFECT: modification of existing roll stands decrease their height. ^ 12 cl, 4 dwg |
