PURPOSE: A molding system for forming lenses and a method of forming lens using the same are provided to curb drawbacks due to the surface contamination of mold and enhance productivity using a consumable mold cap. CONSTITUTION: A molding system for forming lenses with curvature on both sides comprises first and second mold caps(10,20), an injecting hole(24), and a discharging hole(26). The first mold cap has a first concave shape(12). The second mold cap has a second concave shape(22) on one surface facing one surface of the first mold cap. The first and second shapes form a lens forming space (A). The injection hole injects a lens forming material into the lens forming space. The injection hole is formed through the second mold cap. The discharging hole discharges gas from the lens forming space.
