PURPOSE: A polyethylene resin composition is provided to improve physical strength and workability, to prevent the generation of poisonous gas, and to obtain the fire retardant of UL94 V-0. CONSTITUTION: A polyethylene resin composition comprises 20-69wt% polyethylene resin, 1-50wt% polyphenylene ether-based resin, 0.1-15wt% hydrogenated conjugated diene-based polymer, 0.1-5wt% ionomer, 0.1-5wt% polyamide, and 0.01-3wt% polyethylene glycol. The polyethylene resin is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of ethylene olefin block copolymers containing high density polyethylene, low density polyethylene, linear low density polyethylene, metallocene polyethylene, or 1-butene, 1-pentene, 1-hexene, 4- methylpentene, 1-hepthene, 1-octene, and 1-decene.
