PURPOSE: A PVC-based synthetic lumber using amino silane-modified wood flour is provided to ensure mechanical strength and thermal size stability. CONSTITUTION: A PVC-based synthetic lumber contains 9,10150 weight parts of amino silane-modified wood flour based on 100 weight parts of PVC compounds. The amino silane is N-2(aminoethyl)-3-aminopropytrimethoxysilane. The amino silane-modified wood flour is prepared from a mixture containing 2-3 weight parts of amino silane, 40-55 weight parts of moisture, 900-1100 weight parts of ethanol, and 35-45 weight parts of woof flour. The amino silane-modified wood flour is prepared by mixing the mixture at room temperature and at 400-600rpm for 0.5-2 hours, further mixing at 100-150°C for 20-40 minutes, and cooling. |
