The vehicle (1) has a vacuum pump i.e. liquid ring pump (4), for producing low pressure during operation of a device by suction of pure gaseous medium i.e. air (6). The device is selected from a group consisting of a brake booster (9), a centralized locking unit and an auxiliary unit. The liquid ring pump is driven by an electromotor (7) i.e. direct-current motor, and utilizes operating fluid i.e. brake fluid, with vapor pressure lower than 10 mbar at 20 degree Celsius. A liquid separator is provided at an air outlet (3) of the liquid ring pump.
