<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing retaining structure of a steam turbine power generator, capable of completely preventing grease charged in a bearing from leaking and spraying and increasing the service life of the bearing by properly maintaining a clearance generated on the outer ring at an outer-periphery side of the bearing and stabilizing the behavior of the bearing. <P>SOLUTION: Between a generator casing 7 and bearings 12 and 15, a sleeve 26 formed from a material having the same linear expansion coefficient as those of the bearings 12 and 15 is interposed so that no clearance occurs between the sleeve 26 and the generator casing 7 during the operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
