<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently illuminate a dial plate without including shadowed portions by the small number of light sources, even when a lamp case section for illuminating an indicator is arranged at the back side of the dial plate. <P>SOLUTION: The pointer instrument 1 is equipped with: a light guiding plate 4 arranged on a front side of the case while including a plate case 3 projectingly providing the lamp case section 13 for illuminating the indicator, an opening 30 for housing the lamp case section, and a light guiding section 27 for illuminating the pointer and the dial plate; the light sources 9, 10 arranged on the light guiding portion; and the dial plate 2 arranged on the front side of the light guiding plate while including the indicator 55. Corner sections 37, 40 are prepared on the upper side and/or the lower side of the light guiding plate 4, and the corner sections include two intersected side faces 5,6 7,8, and lights 44, 49, 52 introduced to the light guiding plate from the light source through the light guiding portion are reflected to the two side surfaces in order and bypassed the lamp case section in the opening so that a light guiding plate portions 35 of the outside of a radial direction of the opening is illuminated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
