摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The method involves computing capacitance of single cells of a battery by integrating battery power from an open-circuit voltage phase to another open-circuit voltage phase. Momentary open cell voltage (OCV) for each single cell of the battery is computed from a determined state of charge (SOC) value at a given point of time. Maximum current is determined from a given voltage threshold value, the computed OCV and internal resistance of the single cells, where the given voltage threshold value is a maximum value or a minimum value. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Method for determining maximum current from a battery i.e. high voltage battery, of a motor car. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method enables reliable determination of the maximum current from the battery, thus avoiding dropping of voltage range of the single cells of the battery. The maximum current is determined from the given voltage threshold value, the computed OCV and the internal resistance of the single cells, thus enabling optimal control of car components, and hence avoiding unwanted moment shocks or oscillations during operation of the vehicle. The method enables better utilization of the battery and avoidance of oversizing of the battery.
