<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double torsional damper in which an inhibit wire of the double torsional damper has a weight drop prevention mechanism for preventing breakage of the inhibit wire and dropping of a weight and which facilitates breakage detection. <P>SOLUTION: An inhibit wire 10 is composed of a core and a plurality of outer periphery wires each having the same outside diameter, in which the plurality of outer periphery wires are twisted together around the periphery of the core.
