<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus and a television apparatus capable of more suppressing a temperature rise in an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The television apparatus or electronic apparatus comprises: a body part which includes a rectangular display screen and which is used by a first posture where a side of the display screen is located above and a second posture where another side orthogonal to a side is located above; a housing which forms at least a part of an outer shell of the body part and takes on a rectangular shape when viewed from the front of the display screen; a heating element stored in the housing; and a heat transport mechanism including a heat receiving part at least a part of which is stored in the housing and which receives heat from the heating element, a heat radiation part which radiates heat, and a heat transmission part containing media for carrying heat from the heat receiving part to the heat radiation part.
