<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear pump capable of achieving a reduction in sliding frictional force between a housing and an outer rotor. <P>SOLUTION: A peripheral flow passage 110 is formed between a wall surface corner forming the hollow portion of the housing and the peripheral corner of the outer rotor 30. The peripheral flow passage 110 passes through the phase ranges (C and D) of a delivery port 14 from at least the end A of an inlet port 13 in the direction of rotation of the outer rotor 30 and is formed within a phase range to the end B of the inlet port 13 in the direction of reverse rotation of the outer rotor 30. A first orifice flow passage 130 is formed. The first orifice flow passage 130 communicates in a phase on the side of the end A of the inlet port 13 in the direction of rotation of the outer rotor 30 in the peripheral flow passage 110, and communicates with the inlet port 13 or a flow passage connected to the inlet port 13. The first orifice flow passage 130 is formed to have a cross-sectional area smaller than the cross-sectional area of the peripheral flow passage 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
