The invention relates to a method of allocating resources to mobile terminals. This method comprises the following iterative steps: the terminals having at least one elastic link increase the throughput on their elastic links according to a predetermined temporal law; and when a mobile terminal having at least one fixed link detects that its coverage on this fixed link is threatened, it sends an alert message to the base station of the cell, said base station then constraining said terminals having at least one elastic link to temporarily reduce their throughput on these elastic links by a predetermined quantity.
