<p>Disclosed is an organic EL display panel wherein excellent image display performance can be expected by forming a layer having a uniform film thickness using an inkjet system, and suppressing emission unevenness. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing the organic EL display panel. Specifically disclosed is a method for manufacturing the organic EL display panel, wherein the organic EL display panel can be manufactured with excellent production efficiency by eliminating ink clogging in an inkjet head. In the organic EL display panel (100), recessed sections (8) are formed on the upper surface of a bank (7), said recessed sections being formed between openings (13) adjacent to each other in the column (Y) direction. At the time of forming a light emitting layer (9), on the basis of the inkjet system, an ink is dropped to the openings (13) and the recessed sections (8). A solvent is evaporated from the openings (13) and the recessed sections (8), the concentration of solvent vapor in an organic material is made uniform, said concentration being in the Y direction, and the film thickness is made uniform. Furthermore, clogging of an inkjet nozzle is eliminated by jetting the ink to the recessed sections (8), and production efficiency is improved.</p> |
