PURPOSE: A file synchronizing method and a device thereof are provided to manage written/edited/changed files in a file server by a client film, thereby reducing a system load and realizing efficient management. CONSTITUTION: A transmission unit(210) transmits data to a file server connected to a client terminal. An event checking unit checks a file storage event which is generated in the client terminal. If an updated point exists in a file in which the file storage event is generated, a synchronization unit(230) transmits an updated file or data for the updated point to the file server. The event checking unit checks object change events related to a folder change, a folder list change, and a file list change which are generated in the client terminal.
