<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 3D content distribution system that allows a viewer to easily determine whether a video content being distributed is a 2D content or a 3D content and that can display the content quickly. <P>SOLUTION: A program guide distribution server 102 distributes, to a reception terminal 301 via an edge router 201 of a CDN 200, a program guide which registers the title of a 3D content to be distributed by a 3D content distribution server 101 as a program accompanied with identification information for indicating that it is a 3D content, and the 3D content distribution server 101 compression-encodes, when compression-encoding the 3D content to be distributed to the reception terminal 301, either one of video data for a left eye and video data for a right eye constituting the 3D content as a 2D content, compression-encodes the other video data as a parallax content indicating a difference from the relevant 2D content caused by parallax, and distributes the parallax content to the reception terminal 301 prior to the 2D content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
