<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unique system and a method that perform management and navigation of various data objects by using a unique time line based navigation tool. <P>SOLUTION: Objects are partially organized within an appropriate band on the basis of a time parameter such as a time or a date generating the objects. A user navigates or browses the band and the objects by a navigation tool according to a desired time parameter or a range of time. Zooming and other browsing options are available to the user so that the objects of interest are displayed at various detail levels.
