<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive shaft capable of resolving risk that contact stress between splines of an inner race and an intermediate shaft is increased, and of reducing the cost. <P>SOLUTION: The drive shaft 1 includes a pair of constant velocity joints 2, 3 having inner races 2a, 3a and outer races 2b, 3b, and a hollow intermediate shaft 4 which is interposed between the pair of constant velocity joints 2, 3 and opened in both directions of the axis. In the intermediate shaft 4, the inner race 2a of one constant velocity joint 2 is fixed in the axial direction to one of both opening ends, and the inner race 3a of the other constant velocity joint 3 is fixed in the axial direction to the other opening end by using the caulking, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
