<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus for performing processing of image data so as to increase the realistic feeling due to using a property of human eyes. <P>SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the image processing apparatus includes image input means, enlargement means, and output means. The image input means inputs an image and information on a focus point of the image. The enlargement means enlarges the periphery of the focus point of the image on the basis of the information on the focus point.
