<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stably formed image using image forming apparatus having a transfer roller with a transfer material gripping portion disposed in a recess on its peripheral surface. <P>SOLUTION: Image forming apparatus comprises: a first roller 52 on which a transfer belt 40 with an image transferred thereto is wrapped; a second roller 41 on which the transfer belt 40 wrapped on the first roller 52 is wrapped; a third roller 53 on which the transfer belt 40 wrapped on the second roller 41 is wrapped; a transfer roller 61 whose peripheral surface is provided with a recess 605 in which a transfer material gripping portion 610 is provided; a stretching member 691 which stretches the second roller 41 on the transfer belt 40; and regulating parts 680, 690 which regulate a position of the second roller 41 at a position where the second roller 41 stretches the transfer belt 40 when the recess 605 of the transfer roller 61 faces the second roller 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
