<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaping method of a packaging bag in which the packaging bag is formed with no neck portion and uniformly open by injecting pressurized air to expand the packaging bag, under the condition that the bottom of a gusset bag having a tucked portion or a self-supporting bag is heated and softened, so that filling operation of packaged objects in a subsequent process can be smoothly performed. <P>SOLUTION: In a bag bottom shaping process (5), pressurized air is injected from the air blow pipe 33 of a first air blow means 30 into the gusset bag (g), so that the bag (g) is expanded to the point that the tucked portion is not completely opened and the front side and rear side of the bottom (j) of the bag are adhered to the inner surfaces of heat blocks 60, 60 to be heated and softened.
