PURPOSE: A method for alarming the contamination degree of a protective cover glass for a camera module and an apparatus equipped with a camera module and a cover glass for protecting the camera module are provided to send an alarm message for glass cover cleaning request to a user when the contamination degree, which is detected with a user operation or periodically, is over a set value. CONSTITUTION: A method for alarming the contamination degree of a protective cover glass for a camera module comprises a step of obtaining an image for detecting the contamination degree of a cover glass(S12), a step of comparing the contrast value of the obtained image with a preset reference contrast value, a step of outputting a contamination occurrence signal when the contrast value of the obtained image is over the reference contrast value, a step of turning on a light source for providing lights to the cover glass(S11), and a step of displaying the contamination degree in graphics and sounds. |
