<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to ensure a contact pressure between a first electrode contact portion of a first contact and an electrode of a first connection object. <P>SOLUTION: A receptacle contact 8 comprises: an electrode contact portion 13 capable of making contact with an electrode pad 12 of a receptacle-side substrate 2; and a first arm 14 and a second arm 15 each extending from the electrode contact portion 13. The first arm 14 and the second arm 15 respectively have a first clamping portion 14f and a second clamping portion 15f which are capable of making contact with a plug contact 10 of a plug-side substrate 4; and a first slanting portion 14b and a second slanting portion 15b which gradually narrow gaps between the first arm 14 and the second arm 15, respectively, as they are spaced away from the electrode contact portion 13. On a receptacle housing 6, a first flange 20a and a second flange 20b are formed. When the receptacle contact 8 is expanded by the plug contact 10 arranged on the plug-side substrate 4, the first slanting portion 14b and the second slanting portion 15b come into contact with the first flange 20a and the second flange 20b, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
