IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which prevents information images of the same printing medium identification code from being combined even when iteratively printing a document described by a print description language stored in a document storage means.

SOLUTION: A document storage means of an image processing apparatus stores a document which is to be iteratively printed and is described by a print description language. Receiving means receives a printing instruction that is an instruction to print the document. Image generation means interprets the print description language of the document to generate an image to be printed. Determination means determines whether a combining instruction to combine an information image representing a printing medium identification code uniquely identifying a printing medium with the document for each printing medium to be printed in the print description language of the document is included. If it is determined that the combining instruction is included, combination means combines the information image representing the printing medium identification code with the image. Printing means prints the image with which the information image representing the printing medium identification code has been combined.
