<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suggest a liquid cartridge urging unit that is provided at a mount portion for a liquid cartridge to urge the liquid cartridge, and which is configured to achieve miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: A unit frame 45 includes: two substantially parallel sides 46, 46 extending in a first direction; a connection 47 for connecting these ends in the first direction; and one or more guide bars 49 extending in a second direction opposed to the first direction from the connection 47, between the sides 46, 46. Between the adjacent guide bar 49 and the guide bar 49 or a side 46, sliders 84 urged in the second direction by an urging body 85 are disposed one by one.
