The method involves detecting a motion and/or presence of wild animals (1) using a sensor device (11). The detected motion and/or presence of the wild animals are evaluated in relation to a track way (7) using an evaluating apparatus (13). Traffic information is output as a reaction (17) that is introduced in dependence of the detected motion and/or presence evaluation by an influence device (15) for influencing the wild animals, where the reaction includes transmission of warning i.e. sound waves, to the wild animals. The sensor device is selected from a radar sensor and/or an infrared sensor and/or an ultrasonic sensor.
