A method is disclosed for pushing information to a user of a computer system. The method includes determining network information interested by the user based on at least one of the user's browsing history of first one or more websites and the user's input related to the user's interest. The method also includes determining network resources to be monitored, and dynamically monitoring the network resources determined to be monitored. Further, the method includes determining updated information from monitored network resources related to the user's interest, and pushing the updated information to the user.
