<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To excellently suppress deterioration of a fuel cell at start-up of the fuel cell through simple and economical processes. <P>SOLUTION: The method of starting a fuel cell stack 12 includes a gas replacement process of supplying oxidizer gas from an upstream side of an oxidizer gas passage 34 to the oxidizer gas passage 34 through an oxidizer gas inlet communication hole 28a while supplying fuel gas from a downstream side of the fuel gas passage 40 to the fuel gas passage 40 through a fuel gas outlet communication hole 30b; a normal power generation process of generating electric power by supplying the oxidizer gas from the upstream side of the oxidizer gas passage 34 to the oxidizer gas passage 34 through the oxidizer gas inlet communication hole 28a while supplying the fuel gas from a upstream side of the fuel gas passage 40 to the fuel gas passage 40 through a fuel gas inlet communication hole 30a after the gas replacement process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
