<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device with which the power feeding can be safely performed even if a power feeding path to which a plurality of communication devices and electric devices can be connected and to provide a power feeding method and a power feeding system for the communication device. <P>SOLUTION: A communication device which performs communication with other communication devices and performs power feeding to other communication devices via a transmission channel includes an AC-DC converting part 135 for generating power feeding voltage, an active state detection circuit 11 for detecting the connection of an electric device other than the communication devices with respect to the transmission channel and an output control circuit 12 for controlling power feeding to other communication devices.
