<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elevator with 4:1 roping arrangement and without a machine room which is provided with four car-suspension sheaves wound with a main rope suspending from a drive sheave of a hoisting machine and arranged in a manner of suspending a gravity center of a car, by which an unbalanced load is hardly applied to a car-side guide rail even when passengers are positioned unevenly in the depth direction or the width direction of the car. <P>SOLUTION: The main rope 30 suspending from the drive sheave 21 is: laid around the fourth car-suspension sheave 26 and guided to the other side in the width direction; laid around the third car-suspension sheave 25 and guided up to the upper part of the hoistway 1; laid around a car-side return pulley 22 from the rear side in the depth direction and guided down to the front side in the depth direction; laid around the second car-suspension sheave 24 and guided to a side in the width direction; laid around the first car-suspension sheave 23 and guided up to the upper part of the hoistway 1; and fixed to a car-side rope hitch 31 so that the car 2 is suspended at the position of the gravity center G. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
