<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide information to a photographer for determining whether or not a connection by wireless communication is possible. <P>SOLUTION: In a drive unit 32 of a lens device 16, a connector to which a lens controller (a zoom demand 42 or the like) is normally attached with a cable is connected with a wireless adapter 50. On the other hand, the lens controller (the zoom demand 42 or the like) is connected with a wireless adapter 52.
