<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighter capable of adjusting an amount of gas, and preventing dropping-out of an adjustment adaptor. <P>SOLUTION: In this lighter 1 including a gas amount adjustment mechanism 7 capable of adjusting the amount of gas delivered to a gas discharging structure, the gas amount adjustment mechanism 7 includes an adjustment screw 71 projecting from a bottom section 12 of an interior body 2 toward an outer cover 3, and the adjustment adaptor 74 for rotating the adjustment screw 71, and is configured to adjust the amount of gas by engaging the adjustment screw 71 through the adjustment adaptor 74. The adjustment adaptor 74 includes a cylindrical body section 81 fitted to the adjustment screw 71, a rotating groove exposed to a through hole 21b formed on a bottom plate 21 of an outer cover 3, and an engagement projection 83 projecting to an outer periphery of a cylindrical body section 81, and the engagement projection 83 is disposed between the bottom plate 21 and the interior body 2 in a state that a distance from the center of the cylindrical body section 81 to a tip of the engagement projection 83 is larger than a radius of the through hole 21b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
