PURPOSE: A wind power generation system is provided to enable natural cooling to be made using a heat pipe. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generation system comprises a coupler(4), a brake device(5), a generator(6) and a cooling device(10). The coupler receives the torque of the rotary shaft of a hub(2) of a blade(1) through a bearing and transfers it. The brake device can obtain the brake torque depending on the proximities of a magnet and a nonferrous metal, which are installed on the rotary shaft. The rotary shaft receives the torque through the coupler. The generator receives the torque of the rotary shaft through the brake device and generates the power. The cooling device transfers the heat from the generator to a heat sink, which is installed outside a nacelle housing, by the heat pipe. |
