The module has a housing with a camera (11) that records an image of an external area (5) of a motor vehicle. An actuator (13) e.g. pushbutton, activates a mechanical lock of a movable part i.e. rear flap. A mobile protection element (12) i.e. lighting element, is movable between a closing position (3) and an opening position. The actuator is freely accessible for the user and the image of the area is recordable, in the opening position. The element simultaneously covers the actuator and the camera, in the closing position. The element is formed as a single piece or as a multipart. |
