METHOD FOR PREVENTION OF SULFIDE MINERAL OXIDATION

PURPOSE: A method for preventing the oxidization of mineral sulfide is provided to prevent the oxidization of rock containing mineral sulfide by spraying calcium silicate coating agent to surface layers of a waste rock stacking place or goaf. CONSTITUTION: A coating agent(C) is sprayed to a region with rocks(S) containing mineral sulfide to coat the rock containing the mineral sulfide in order to prevent the exposure of the mineral sulfide. The coating agent includes calcium. The coating agent is calcium silicate and further includes a binder to improve the adhesive of the rock containing the mineral sulfide and the calcium silicate. The binder is silica sol.
