PURPOSE: An apparatus for treating exhaust gas is provided to improve the efficiency of the apparatus by increasing the sensible heat collecting rate of the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for treating exhaust gas includes a plurality of wind boxes(21), an exhaust gas duct(25), and a heat exchanger(35). The apparatus treats exhaust gas from an iron ore sintering process which is continuously implemented according to the movement of a conveyor(13). The wind boxes are in connection with each part of the conveyor and collect the exhaust gas. The exhaust gas duck is in connection with the wind boxes and transfers the exhaust gas to a nitrogen oxides eliminating unit. The heat exchanger heat-exchanges the exhaust gas from the rear part of the sintering process.
