The valve (10) has a valve drive and a valve unit adjusting flow of damper fluid for adjustment of damper characteristics. An inlet for the damper fluid from a damper is fed over an inlet opening (22) arranged at an end of a valve housing (20) by an inner contour of the valve housing over the valve unit. Return flow of the damper fluid of an outflow opening (26) of the valve housing is led over an outer contour of the valve housing arranged back to the damper. The valve housing comprises guide units (24) for guiding damper fluid. An independent claim is also included for a damper for a vehicle, comprising a control valve.
